Aleksey Chumakov (Aleksey Chumakov) is a popular singer and composer. He is also a TV presenter and scriptwriter. He became famous by participating in the projects "People's Artist" and "One in One".

Talented in everything

Lyosha was born on 12.03.1981 in Samarkand. The boy started singing at the age of 5. For further development of abilities he went to a music school on a class of percussion instruments. He mastered the guitar by himself. He started composing songs at the age of 11. With one of his works he won a local contest.

When he was 9 years old, the family moved to Tyumen. There the future artist continued his studies at the vocal department of the local college of arts. And then he entered the part-time conducting and choral department in Tashkent.

In his autobiography Alexey notes that those were very difficult years. He had to combine his studies with performances in clubs, taking a free minute to compose new songs.

The first step in the creative biography is considered the moment when he performed at the "Voice of Europe Plus" in Kemerovo. The triumph was a glory: Lyosha won in 3 categories. Further, as it is supposed to be, the career went up sharply. True, the singer did not think to stop there: he worked a lot on himself, mastered the skills of a producer and other necessary professions.

The real success came in 2003, when Lyosha participated in the "People's Artist". Larisa Dolina and Anton Komolov, sitting in the jury chair, at one glance realized that this young man has great potential. And they were not mistaken: the guy reached the finals of the TV show and took the 3rd place with the song "I'm crazy about you". For her, he received the prize of audience sympathy.

This victory became a sure pass to the world of show business. Soon Alexei Chumakov signed an agreement with the channel "Russia" and began to lead the show "The Secret of Success", not forgetting about music.

In 2006, the singer presented his debut album, totaling 13 tracks (among which was the above-mentioned composition). And after 7 years - another one. In the same period, Lyosha went to the show "One in One". He literally surprised the audience by appearing before them in the images of:

• Ilya Lagutenko;
• Boris Moiseyev;
• Montserrat Caballe.

The verdict was unambiguous: a hundred percent victory in the first season. In the second, he already conducted the program himself and worried about all the participants.

After winning the show, calls from TV channels came one after another. As a result, he opted for the programs "Who is on top?" and "To succeed before midnight." Later projects were shows "Open, you have guests!" and "Empire of Illusions".

Being talented in everything, Alexei Chumakov was not limited to participation in television projects. He had a hand in the creation of the movie "Dirt", filmed on his script. True, in wide distribution, it never came out. Despite this, Alexei decided to continue writing. His debut in this field was the book "In Search of Ghosts". He tried himself and as a movie actor, starring in the series "Bars", which started in 2018.

Personal life

In his personal life, Alexei is no less successful than in creativity. His future wife he met back when Julia Kovalchuk performed in the collective "Blestyashchie". Young people fell in love not immediately, and getting acquainted gradually. They began to communicate more closely on the project "Dancing on Ice". That they became a couple, it became known only in 2009. And even after that, young people were in no hurry to bind themselves in marriage and have children. The wedding took place in 2013. The ceremony was modest, without attracting a crowd and curious journalists. In 2017, the couple had a daughter, who was named Amelia.
