Alyona Apina (maiden name - Lyovochkina) was born on August 23, 1964. Hometown - Saratov.
The girl's father worked as an engineer, her mother - a salesman. Other children, except for Alyona, in the family was not, so the parents sought to give their daughter the best. When the girl was 5 years old, they bought her a piano, and a little later gave her to a music school. To study here she liked it very much, the little girl looked forward to each new lesson. After school, Alyona Apina entered the Saratov music school, after graduating from which she worked for some time as a pianist-accompanist in the city club "Vostok" (1). Having decided to move on, the girl tried to enter the conservatory, but there were too many people wishing to enter the piano department, and Alyona failed the exams. But she was not confused and did not give up her dream. A year later she applied to the folk singing department. Participation in "Combination"
In the group "Combination" Alyona got in the student years. For a while she was offered to work in the girls' collective, and Apina agreed, becoming one of its soloists. At first it was not easy: to rehearse and record compositions had to rehearse in basements, to perform - in nearby towns and villages. Then "Combination" moved to Moscow and soon became a very popular collective. Concerts of girls gathered huge halls, their songs sounded from the windows of every house. Before him, Alena was married to the artist Valery Apin, but their union lasted only a few months. After the divorce, the singer left the surname of the spouse.
