Andrey Skorokhod is a bright showman and inimitable comedian who captivates the audience with his extraordinary sense of humor, artistry and charisma. Early years of the artist
Andrei Igorevich Skorokhod was born in a small provincial town Starye Dorogi, which is near Minsk. From a very young age, he liked to attract attention to himself, and he did it in any way. He sang, danced, organized theatrical performances, invented and told funny stories. At school, his restlessness and the desire to stand out from the crowd had a slightly different character: he could sass, get into a fight, disrupt the lesson. Such a "natural disaster" brought parents a lot of trouble, so they tried to direct the youthful energy in the right direction. Andrew attended many circles and sections. He burned, weaved macramé, studied at the music school to play the clarinet, engaged in sports tourism, participated in the school KVN. The boy not only had time to attend all these classes, but also showed decent results. Moreover, he easily combined it with basic education: he was not enough to become an excellent student. Skorokhod himself claims that the reason for his hooligan behavior was only an excessive sense of justice and sincere straightforwardness.
After school Andrei applied to the Belarusian State University of Economics. The development of new technologies attracted him, and he chose the specialty "Economic Cybernetics". He passed the competition without any problems and started his studies. But science quickly bored him. His creative nature took over.
KVN and Comedy Club
The first comedy skits with the participation of Andrei Skorokhod were staged at school. More seriously he began to treat KVN in his student years, when together with a friend Maxim Voronkov created his team "Lost Thoughts". This duo was loved by the audience from the first performance. The newcomers simply broke into the Belarusian KVN Supreme League, becoming a real discovery.
The hobby so captivated the guy that he devoted himself to this occupation. In parallel with participation in KVN, Andrei and Maxim became residents of the Belarusian Comedy Club. There was no time and energy left for studying. Soon he was expelled for truancy. But the positive young man was not upset at all, because by that time he finally realized that cybernetics is not his. He can and loves to give people smiles!
Later he made one more attempt to get higher education - he entered Vilnius European Humanities University to study law. But after the first session he withdrew his documents.
When Skorokhod finally decided to devote his life to creativity, fate prepared an unpleasant surprise: the team "Lost Thoughts" broke up, and the Belarusian "Comedy Club" was going through hard times. A budding artist, full of strength and ambition, was left without work and money. His pride did not allow him to return home. For some time, he was interrupted by small part-time jobs.
In one of the difficult moments Andrei borrowed money from Slava Komissarenko. He joked with the guy, offering to "work off the loan" in the KVN team "Triode and Diode" (they were looking for a scriptwriter for their numbers). So an accident changed Skorokhod's whole life. He returned to the "Club of the Merry and Resourceful", moved to Moscow and came to the big stage of the Supreme League.
The talented guy was noticed at once. His hilarious miniatures, original play, funny facial expressions, artistry and musicality were loved by the audience. But for a long time in the "Triode and Diode" he did not stay, 2 years later he received an invitation to Comedy Club on "TNT".
Becoming a resident of "Comedy Club", he was able to fully reveal himself. His miniatures are regularly added to the golden fund of the comedy show. Andrei Skorokhod brilliantly plays any role (both male and female). Thanks to his tall and lean figure, he gets it especially funny. In addition, the actor sings beautifully, and some numbers are accompanied by songs from his own discography (pseudonym Glebati, a parody of rapper Timati). Sketches with Demis Karibidis break records for views on the Internet. His appearance on stage always causes a real flurry of emotions, because it means that the audience is waiting for another portion of excellent humor.
The artist does not stop at what he has achieved. Over the past couple of years, he managed to "light up" in the series "The Phantom of the Opera" and in the comedy "Zomboyashchik". We are sure that with such acting data, he will still show himself in major roles.
Personal life
Although Andrei Skorokhod is open in communication with journalists, little is known about his personal life. This part of his biography, he prefers to hide. From all questions about matters of the heart, he guffaws in his inherent comedic manner. Only in one interview he seriously noted that he really wants to have a family, children and a dog.
After the appearance of a joint wedding photo with actress Nastya Samburskaya on the Internet, fans flooded the questions of both artists. In the end it turned out that it was just a joke. The photo was taken during filming in a commercial.
Andrei many times attributed to novels, and he courageously hid all personal from the public. But in the summer of 2018, he said goodbye to the single life. With his future wife Eugenia, they met in Jurmala at the festival "VOICE KIVIN", then met, lived together and got married.
