Anton Makarskiy is a popular actor and singer who gained wide fame for his roles in the television novel Poor Nastya and the musicals Metro and Notre Dame de Paris. He owes his success to his considerable talent, incredible work ethic, and the support of his loving wife.
Anton's childhood and adolescence
The future famous artist was born in Penza on November 26, 1975. The boy grew up in a large and friendly family, surrounded by creative people. His grandfather, People's Artist of the Russian Federation Mikhail Yakovlevich Kaplan, is still the oldest actor of the Penza Drama Theater. His mother was a puppet theater actress, as was his stepfather, Igor Makarsky, who adopted the boy when he was 10 years old.
It is not surprising that Anton became involved in art at an early age. At the age of 8, he was already participating in the local drama theater, although he never dreamed of becoming a professional actor. For him, the world of the backstage was not mysterious and enigmatic. Young Anton knew that theater is hard work, and an actor's life does not always turn out the way he would like it to.
At that time, the boy was more interested in sports. Anton was fond of boxing, power triathlon, fencing, and wanted to become a professional athlete and teach physical education. But he decided to enter the theater department. According to Makarsky himself, his uncle, the singer Oleksiy Kaplan, helped him make the final choice in favor of an acting career.
Anton went to Moscow and began to try out for several theater schools at the same time. Despite the competition, he managed to get into 3 schools: Shchukin, Shchepkin and GITIS. Makarsky chose Shchukin. He calls this period in his life "hungry but fun".
After successfully graduating from the school, Anton Makarsky joined Mark Rozovsky's theater company, U Nikitsky Vorota. After working on the stage for about 2 months, the young man decided to temporarily "change his role" and joined the army. But he did not manage to "take a break from the theater". The talented young man was noticed, and after 1.5 months of service, Makarsky was transferred to the Ministry of Internal Affairs ensemble, where he sang and hosted concerts.
Anton returned from the army in 1999. For six months he did not work anywhere, and then he learned about a casting call for the musical Subway. He came to the audition as an actor, not a singer, but this did not stop him from beating out other applicants and getting the lead role. The production, which was a great success, was a great start to his career.
Acting and music career
In 2002, Makarsky received an invitation to play Captain Phebe de Chateaubriand in the Russian version of the musical Notre Dame de Paris. This role brought him incredible success. The composition Belle became an absolute hit, cementing Makarsky's status as a romantic hero. After that, he seriously thought about releasing his own solo album.
The first CD, About You, was presented to the audience in 2007. It included 15 songs, 2 of which were performed together with his wife. The second album, released a year later, contained cover versions of popular songs.
In the early 2000s, Anton Makarsky began to actively act in films. The first project in his creative biography was the film series The Drill. However, the real debut that opened Makarsky as a film actor is considered to be the role of Andrei Dolgoruky in the multi-episode melodrama Poor Nastya. The image of the blue-eyed handsome man with impeccable military bearing won the favor of millions of viewers. In addition to his brilliant acting, Anton also demonstrated excellent vocal skills, performing the title song of the TV series "I'm Not Sorry", which became a real hit.
Today, the actor's filmography includes several dozen films and TV series, where he plays sultry beauties, gallant gentlemen and charming scoundrels equally flawlessly. Among his best works:
- "And the snow fell";
- "Breathe with Me;
- "Silent Pines"
- "Vangelia";
- "Classmates.
In addition to acting in films, Makarsky is engaged in voice acting for cartoons, participates in various TV shows (The Great Race, Ford Boyard, Dancing with the Stars, Phantom of the Opera), and tries his hand at hosting large-scale events.
Another bright page in the creative biography of the popular actor is the Live Concert project, in which he sings on stage with his wife, Victoria Makarska. This vibrant interactive musical performance goes beyond the usual format of a pop concert and stands out from it. The performances of the actors, who are very popular with the public, are scheduled for several months in advance. You can get to them by using our online ticket office.
The couple tours all over the country. Their repertoire includes both songs that have already become legendary and new songs written specifically for the star couple. Some of them were included in the album "Music" released in 2018. However, the actor is not going to stop, he has a lot of creative plans. All details about them can be found in the blog about artists on kontramarka.de.
Personal life
Anton Makarsky is not only a successful and popular actor, but also a happy family man. The actor believes that he was very lucky in his personal life: he met the woman of his dreams. His chosen one was the actress Victoria Morozova, whom Anton met during auditions for the musical Subway. A year later, the couple got married and then formalized their relationship. The Makarskys had no children for a long time. The couple had already started thinking about adopting a child, but then fate gave them a gift. In 2012, the couple had a daughter, Masha, and 3 years later, a son, Ivan.
Being a quarter-Jewish by nationality, Makarsky is very jealous of family principles, so he has a reputation at home as a strict father and husband. In fact, he loves his family very much and puts their wishes and interests above all else.
