Dmitriy Kharatyan is a guru of Russian cinema, one of the most famous and talented artists. In his arsenal of more than a hundred diverse roles in films and theaters, he is an excellent singer, plays the guitar, voices cartoons, broadcasts on television and has shown himself as a film producer. Attractive blue-eyed blond has won the hearts of millions of women. Charismatic and charming actor falls in love with himself from the first frame.
Childhood and youth
Dmitry Vadimovich was born January 21, 1960 in a small town near Tashkent - Almalyk. Soon his father received an apartment in Lipetsk, where they moved. But for a long time there did not stay: in 1963 they exchanged it for housing in Krasnogorsk, where the childhood and youth of the future artist.
Both parents of the boy engineers. His father worked in a technical university, his mother was a deputy of the City Council for more than 10 years. In the pedigree of Kharatyan there is more than one famous name. But the most surprising was the fact that among his ancestors were real midshipmen (grandfather's brother served on the battleship "Petropavlovsk"). Perhaps this is the whole secret of the success of the cult role of Dmitry.
After their family moved to Krasnogorsk, the couple's life did not work out, and soon the father left. Dima in childhood was a quiet and shy boy. He was not an excellent student, did not demonstrate a special desire for knowledge. But he showed himself well in the sports field: from a young age he was fond of soccer and hockey. He dreamed of becoming a professional athlete, but in the national team did not get.
At the same time, the future artist mastered music. He learned to play the guitar, coped with vocals. Since 13 years he has already led the school ensemble "Argonauts".
The start of the movie career at Kharatyan happened by chance. Being in the 9th grade, he went to the casting with his classmate as a support group. Then the girl was approved for a small episode. And a modest quiet Dima Vladimir Menshov invited to the main role. The picture was called "Prank" and became a debut for both the young actor and the director.
The film was a breakthrough cinematography and got a grand success. The role of Igor Glushko and the song "When we leave the schoolyard" brought Kharatyan wide popularity. But this did not push the guy to the idea of becoming an artist. He planned to be a doctor, but weak knowledge of general education disciplines did not allow him to enter the medical school.
Only then Dmitry decided to try his fate in the theater. Having already had some experience and being confident in his talent, he went without preparation to take exams in Shchukinsky. But the selection did not pass. Discouraged after the failure, he went on an expedition to the Kyzyl-Kum desert. On his return, the guy still entered the theater. True, already in the Schepkin school. There he studied for 4 years, and after graduation already had several works in his filmography.
Creative activity
Starting from the first course, Dmitry Kharatyan began to "storm" movie sets. In 1987, there were movie works with his participation "Photos on the wall", then "Fox Hunting", "Swimming walruses", "School", "People in the swamp" and others. As befits a young artist, the first roles were episodic. He got acquainted with already experienced actors, drew experience, borrowed skills, self-improvement.
After receiving his diploma, he was entrusted with the role of Volodya Patrikeev in a two-part movie "Green Van". He perfectly coped with the task assigned to him and secured for himself the role of a romantic hero.
Make a break in the creative biography of the actor was forced by service in the army. Despite the fact that the fame and connections at that time allowed him to "otkosize", a sense of conscience took over. He fully cognized all the "charms" of the Soviet army in the Moscow fire department.
Hardening the spirit and strength of character, after demobilization Kharatyan returned to filming. And it was during this period in his career happened the main event that turned not only his life, but the entire Russian cinematography. In 1987 came out the extravaganza "Gardemarines, go!". The main character Alyosha Korsak conquered millions. And this image is still the business card of the actor. Dmitry was the idol number 1 of that time, he was adored, he was equaled. A young and infinitely talented artist became famous and revered.
After this work was followed by a number of no less significant films. Directors inundated him with offers, and Kharatyan did not neglect the opportunity to star in another movie. Even in the 90s, when most artists experienced a creative crisis, Dmitry did not leave the set, replenishing the collection of roles. In that period were presented such cult films with his participation, such as "Vivat, Guardsmen!", "New Odeon", "On Deribasovskaya good weather, or on Brighton Beach again it rains", "Hearts of Three", "Gardemarines IIII", "The Secret of Queen Anne, or the Musketeers 30 years later" and others.
With the advent of the 2000s, he changed his role: he began to play charming villains. "Maroseika, 12", "Secrets of palace coups", "Moscow saga" made the viewer look at Kharatyan from another side. Successful images helped Dmitry to get rid of the status of "actor of one role", which he was often attributed to him after "Gardemarin".
Today he is known as a versatile and very talented artist, who can play without exaggeration any role.
Other activities of Kharatyan
Realized as an outstanding artist, Dmitry showed himself as an excellent producer. On his account several paintings ("Atlantis", "Long Goodbye", "Fort Ross: In Search of Adventure", etc.), which were highly appreciated by critics.
Kharatyan's voice can be heard in the voiceover of cartoons "Above the Rainbow", "Pocahontas", "Cars" (all three series), and even in the computer games The New Adventures of the Time Machine and "Cars".
His childhood fascination with guitar and song is not a thing of the past: Dmitry has two recorded CDs and many fans of his songs. He also often sang in musicals and motion pictures. In recent years, he occasionally gives solo concerts.
Satisfied with one cinematography, the artist did not have to. Naturally, the theater he could not bypass. The stage and a live audience could not compare with a soulless camera. He appeared in a variety of roles in many theaters in Russia, and each of his output confirmed the outstanding talent and acting skills.
Personal life
The first marriage with Marina Burimova Dmitry himself calls hasty and rash. But despite this, in 1984 they had a daughter Alexandra. The family did not last long: addiction to alcohol and crowds of admirers destroyed their matrimony.
Kharatyan's second wife was a charming Marina Maiko, holder of the title "Miss Tiraspol". They lived for 7 years in a civil marriage and on the registry office did not dare. But the girl's pregnancy hurried them up. In 1988 was born son Vanya, who followed in his father's footsteps and already has several roles in his arsenal.
Today he is a happy family man, father of two children, an accomplished actor, producer and singer, holder of the titles "Honored" and "People's Artist", and just an attractive man who is not subject to the years. In his almost 60 he is actively filmed and does not look his age at all. Read about his further activities in the catalog of artists on the website kontramarka.de.
