Dmitry Nagiev (Dmitriy Nagiev) - an outstanding personality of Russian show business, actor of theater and cinema, TV and radio host, one of the most charismatic artists. He has a rich filmography, loved by the audience thanks to such films as "Kitchen" and "Fizruk". But the real popularity came to him after "Look out, modern!" and the scandalous program "Windows".

Childhood and teenage years

Dima was born in Leningrad (today St. Petersburg) on April 4, 1967. The mother of the future showman was a philologist and associate professor of foreign languages. She worked at the Military Academy of Communications as a teacher. His father was an Arab by nationality, born in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan). As a teenager, he acted in plays. He planned to build a career as an actor, but he was not accepted to the theater institute. This forced him to choose another direction in life. The actor's father worked at the optical-mechanical plant in St. Petersburg. Parents divorced when the boy was 11 years old, and his brother Zhenya - 7.

In childhood, Dima Nagiyev was actively engaged in sports. So in the collection of his achievements appeared the first - he becomes a master of sports in judo. The future showman also practiced sambo and became the USSR champion among juniors in artistic gymnastics.

After school, Dmitry entered the Electrotechnical Institute, studied at the faculty of automation and computer engineering. His material condition left much to be desired, and the student worked part-time as a peddler, for which he was arrested. In order to avoid prosecution, Dima enlisted in the Soviet Army. The future artist went to the Vologda region to the air defense forces.

After service, Dmitry begins his development as an artist and actor. He becomes a student at the Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography. At the age of 23 years at the rehearsal Nagiyev has a seizure. After examination, doctors diagnose paralysis of the facial nerve. The process of treatment to full recovery took about 6 months.
