The International Festival Ballet presents one of the most famous ballets to the music of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake". For many,"Swan Lake" is synonymous with ballet. The romantic fairy tale about the young Prince Siegfried, who falls in love with the Swan Princess Odetta and wants to free her from the evil spell of Duke Rothbart, is a story about the power of true love. This ballet piece is part of the standard repertoire of all major companies. In particular, the Allegro Moderato from the Swan Dances of Act 2, choreographed by Lev Ivanov, has been the subject of countless parodies and is therefore known far beyond the ballet-interested public as the "Dance of the Four Little Swans". Hans Zimmer is a German film composer who became famous for the cult film Rain Man. "When I was composing the score for Rain Man, I always thought: Don't try to drown out the characters. Stay away from the foreground. Raymond, the main character, doesn't really understand where he is. He sees the world differently than we do. Why not create "world music” for a world that exists only in his head? - Hans recalls. This work became a real breakthrough in his career - Zimmer was nominated for an Oscar. Hollywood's top directors lined up to work with him. And Hans completely abandoned his work, often composing musical themes for two or three films at the same time.
