Denis Maidanov

Denis Maidanov is a Russian composer, producer, performer, author of many compositions included in the repertoire of Russian pop stars. Date of birth - February 17, 1976.

Childhood and youth

Denis was born in a small provincial town near Saratov. In his autobiography, the musician notes that he grew up in a very ordinary family, far from show business. When the boy was 8 years old, his parents separated, and Denis stayed with his mother. It was not easy for them to live, there was no money for the essentials. To help his mother, the teenager began to work part-time, the first paycheck brought at the age of 13.

Denis studied well, it was in his school years that his passion for creativity became apparent. Since the 2nd grade, the boy began to compose poems. In addition, he attended creative circles, went to music school. A little later, Denis seriously became interested in playing the guitar, sang in an ensemble.

After 9th grade Maidanov decided to continue his studies at the polytechnic college. The study of chemistry and math was not too interested in the young man, but thanks to social work, he was able to dispose of teachers and count on the indulgence in the exams. Denis creates an ensemble, performing songs written by him, participates in the performances of the KVN team. At the same time, he goes to night school, dreaming of studying at the Institute of Culture in the capital. He succeeds: despite the huge number of applicants, Denis enters the correspondence department and successfully finishes it.

For some time after that, Maidanov works in the Department of Culture, participates in festivals, writes songs for the newly created collective "NV". But he does not give rest to the desire to show himself in creativity, and the young man moves to Moscow.

The beginning of creative activity

The first time Maidanov had to survive with pennies, living with friends. But he did not give up and continued to offer his songs to numerous production centers and studios. A turning point in the creative biography of the musician was his acquaintance with Yuri Aizenshpis, who undertook to help him. Already in 2002, Maidanov became a laureate of the festival "Song of the Year". Widespread fame was brought to him by the composition "Behind the Fog", which was performed by singer Sasha.

Since then, Denis Maidanov becomes one of the most sought-after composers among the stars of the domestic pop. He writes for:

-Nikolai Baskov;

-Alexander Marshall;

-Lolita;

-Mikhail Shufutinsky;

-Marina Khlebnikova.

His songs are extremely popular, pop artists consider it an honor to work with him. Along with this, Maidanov writes soundtracks to popular TV series and movies, in some of them he even tries himself as an actor.

Solo career

In 2008, Denis begins to engage in a solo career. The first album released by him called "I will know that you love me" immediately gets to the top of the music ratings. The most famous song from the disk was "Eternal Love".

Following the debut album, the second and third albums are released. Themes that affect the singer are close and understandable to every person, so many of his solo compositions have become absolute hits, marked by awards.

The musician does not forget about his personal life. Denis devotes a lot of time to his family - his wife Natalia, daughter Vlada and son Bronislaw. The artist met his future wife when she came to his production center for an interview. Natalia recalls that despite his masculine appearance - height 179 cm, weight 71 kg and absolute lack of hair on his head, Denis did not impress her. Love at a glance did not work out. But soon the young people met, not to part. Currently, Natasha actively contributes to the development of her husband's solo career, being his commercial director.
