Meeting with violinist Gidon Kremer in Berlin 6 October 2024

We invite you to a meeting with violinist Gidon Kremer. Following Tsvetaeva, the meeting is called "Art in the light of conscience". This is the first time that Gidon Kremer has given such a performance in Berlin.

Among the topics to be discussed are: whether artcan soften morals, whether classical music is obsolete and why there is so much avant-garde in his repertoire, whether attitudes to culture change during war, what it is like to be both Jewish and German, artas a means of self-preservation and a form of resistance to evil.
