Event description

The British synth duo Hurts, who appeared on the international music scene out of nowhere in 2010, took over the charts with a force that was second to none. Their debut album "Happiness" and the infectious singles "Wonderful Life" and "Stay" held their own in the European charts for months and were showered with a plethora of gold and platinum awards. With a sophisticated sound that skillfully oscillates between new wave, synth sounds and melancholic zeitgeist pop, Hurts have become pioneers of a new generation of artists who are bringing the legacy of the 1980s stylishly into the present day.

Now, 15 years after their spectacular entry into the music world, Hurts are taking a look back at their roots. As part of a series of exclusive European concerts, they will be performing their style-defining debut album "Happiness" live in its entirety - including an appearance in the tranquil town of Ulm-Wiblingen and in Frankfurt am Main. As a foretaste of these special nights, the duo released a remake of their groundbreaking single "Wonderful Life" last December, this time in collaboration with German artists Luciano and Sira. Unsurprisingly, the song catapulted to the top of the German charts immediately after its release - proof of the unbroken fascination emanating from Hurts.
