The legendary Belarusian rock band Lyapis Trubetskoy continues to conquer the hearts of fans all over the world. Very soon the musicians will go on tour in Germany to please fans with a series of grandiose concerts, giving them a powerful charge of emotions and their best hits. The performances will take place on May 12-15, 2025. Tickets for Lyapis Trubetskiy concert are on sale now.
This band and its permanent leader Sergei Mikhalok are well known not only in Belarus, but also throughout the post-Soviet space, and even abroad. From the beginning of their creation the musicians played in the genre of rock. But the band became a household name thanks to its simple, ironic and yet very sincere pop compositions and parodies of chanson. In the 90's his hits "Au, au, au, au, I'll find you anyway" and "Know it's love" rattled at all discos, weddings, corporate parties, and were included in the mandatory repertoire of backyard sit-downs with guitar.
A few years later, already being recognized stars, "Lapis" returned to ska, reggae and uncompromising sharp social punk. Such transformation caused a lot of criticism, but true fans liked the new direction. They appreciated the tracks "Capital", "Matryoshki", "Warriors of Light", which became real anthems for those who defended their beliefs and fought for freedom.
This style of songs was traced in the further creativity of "Lyapis Trubetskiy", until 2014, when the group announced the termination of its activities. Two new bands - "Brutto" and "Trubetskoy" - appeared instead. But two years later, Sergei Mikhalok, deciding to please fans of the early work of the "Trubetskoys", announced the creation of another project, called "Lyapis-98". The basis of the group's repertoire is made up of hits that the musicians performed from the stage in the distant 1990-2000s.
Today the musicians are touring all over the world. Their live performances have already taken place in the United States, Canada, Israel and a number of European countries. Lyapis Trubetskiy's concerts in Germany are next in line. The program THE BEST, which the musicians will present to the audience, will be a real gift for fans and all fans of good music.
