Simple Music Ensemble World will perform the music of the legendary rock band "Korol i Shut" in the symphonic show.

"Korol i Shut" is an iconic punk rock band that first appeared on the music scene in 1988 in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg). The eccentric and bright musicians Mikhail Gorshenev (known as Gorshok) and Andrey Knyazev (known as Knyaz) glorified the world of fantasy, horror and the Middle Ages. Their music combined elements of punk rock, folk and hard rock.

In the more than 20 years of their existence, the band "Korol i Shut" won the appreciation of countless listeners with various musical preferences. Even those who are not necessarily punk rock fans know their songs. The band's songs told tales of witches, vampires, wizards, kings and clowns, creating a unique musical world. Although the leader and co-founder of the band, Mikhail Gorshenev, passed away in 2013, the music and creativity of "Korol i Shut" lives on, inspiring new generations of musicians and listeners.
