Event description

"Sobachje Serdze" (ru) this fall on the theatrical stages of German cities!

The iconic play "Dog's Heart" directed by the famous Valery Zolotukhin - on the 100th anniversary of the writing of the satirical novel of the same name by Mikhail Bulgakov. Valery Zolotukhin's production is rightfully recognized as one of the best. Grandiose premiere from the creators of the sensational play "The Master and Margarita" - Bulgakov Theatre, successfully held in German cities in 2019, 2021 and 2024!

"Sobachje Serdze" (ru)

Mikhail Bulgakov writes the story in the 20s of the last century, when the time of the heroes has passed, and there remained everyday life, which is the test for a person. This is the height of the construction of socialism, the eternal apartment issue, the devastation in the houses and, most importantly - in the heads.

The "Sobachje Serdze" (ru), as well as many other works of genius Bulgakov - a unique fate. The work was written back in 1925, but for more than 60 years was under a ban, and was distributed only in samizdat. The release of the film with E. Evstigneev in the title role, received universal acclaim and attracted not only new readers, but also aroused the interest of many prominent theater directors who offered their interpretation of the legendary Bulgakov text. Valery Zolotukhin's production is rightfully recognized as one of the best.

So, as a result of one of the most complicated experiments, Professor Philip Preobrazhensky makes a stunning discovery: after a pituitary gland transplant, his test dog Sharik turns into a human! The sensational news brings the world-famous professor recognition. However, the joy of the professor-experimenter is short-lived: the question that Sharik - later citizen Poligraf Poligrafych Sharikov - can become a "high psychic personality" is quickly called into question. Bulgakov's vivid satire is conveyed in the performance with surprising grace and conviction.

In the role of Professor Preobrazhensky unsurpassed Igor Khalizov - theater actor and film director, known for the films "The Return of Mukhtar", "On Different Shores", "Dissident" and the performer of the role of Voland in the play "The Master and Margarita".

The performance is also attended by popular actors of theater and cinema:

  • Alexei Avramenko - ("While the village sleeps", "I will wait for you always", "The Thinkers")
  • Konstantin Tsykin - actor, director and artistic director of Theater Valencia, surely remembered by the audience for the role of the cat Behemoth (film works: "Gogol", "Mukhtar", "Code of the Nation").
  • Lyudmila Kondraeva - ("Efrosinya, "Female Doctor", "Trap", "In spite of everything").
  • Boris Bogdanov - actor of the Narva theater "Ilmarine" (film works "What Men Talk About", "Anka from Moldovanka", "Balabol").
  • Veronika Moroz - actress, performer of the role of Gella in the play "Master and Margarita".
  • Maria Shurko - actress, performer of the role of Margarita in The Master and Margarita.
