Event description

"The Red Folder" is the story of an international family: a mum, dad and their little daughter who are forced to leave their home because of the war. It is a road movie about their long journey through 10 countries in Europe.
The Red Folder is a folder with documents that every emigrant or refugee has to collect on the way. The play is based on the real documentary story of this family, but it is told in the form of a fairy tale that the parents compose for their two-year-old daughter. This story is not about war, this story is about people on the road, people who help each other, who make life better and actually make our planet go round. Starting out as an ordinary travelling story, it gradually takes on the sound of a myth and becomes the story of not just one family, but of the whole of humanity. The play is in four languages and the performance features six more, as well as the universal seventh - live music.
