Zoloto is a pseudonym and author's project of the famous musician Vladimir Zolotukhin, who lives and works in Moscow.

The artist started his career in Kazakhstan. His first attempt to make a name for himself was the rock band Cardio Beat. The collective did not last long. Vladimir became cramped within the rock genre, he sought for experiments and new sound. Creative searches prompted Zolotukhin to start a solo career, and a little later - to create the project "Zoloto".

Zolotoo is something completely new in the world of music. The main feature is a filigree combination of familiar motifs and absolutely unexpected musical solutions. In Zolotukhin's songs one can catch echoes of popular artists of the past years: Zemfira, Shura, Andrey Gubin, Leonid Agutin. But it doesn't give off primitiveness and doesn't irritate the listeners. On the contrary, this interweaving of pop melodies, hip-hop, rock and soul-stirring acoustic solos is very appealing to lovers of quality music.
